A recent Gallup Poll shows that roughly 85% of the world’s workers are not engaged. It’s my position that personal issues are likely a major cause of that as well as lack of training at work. Money fights and money problems are the #2 cause of divorce in this nation (Ramsey Solutions). And when a person is dealing with issues at home, they are not performing well at work either.
It’s also important to note that stress is a major contributing factor to under-productivity. If a person is stressed to the max, they are not operating to their fullest potential. And much of the stress problems come from things outside of work such as relationships, money and frustration in not achieving the lifestyle they really want.
