I did a full financial wellness survey for Hayes & Stolz. The results were really interesting. You can download the full report below.
Back in 2010, something drastic happened to me and my family. We realized we were being crushed by too much stuff and not enough time for the things we really wanted to do in life. So we made a change. We paid off $34,000 in debt in 14 months to be debt free except the house! But that wasn’t enough for us. A couple years later, we decided to sell the house, my coveted ’68 Camaro, about 60% of our belongings and build small, debt free home in the country. And this is where our story became about more than just us.
Here’s a couple videos to get a better feel for who we are and what we are passionate about.
Now that we are out of that phase of our life, we are looking forward to what God has in store for us. We are blessed to have freedom in our life to work and serve how we feel led. What’s more, we truly feel we are in the spot God wants us and we love the fact that others are asking us about our journey.
It’s this piece of my journey that has led me to where I am with business now and my passion for helping others. God has truly shown me how my personal story and knowledge of business can make such a huge difference in the lives others.
This will be a trial run for a 3 month period. I’m providing the outline below for your reference. Each month will have it’s own topic and I’ve provided a PDF outline for the presentation itself.
February: The Entrepreneur Mindset
Charity: Next Steps Women’s Center
March: Maximize Your Life
Charity: Harvest House
April: Financial Freedom
Charity: Rachel’s Hope
Each month will have a pre-determined charity that will be given any additional funds that are generated above the set cost of the event. Examples are noted above accordingly but none of these have been spoken to about this program at this time.
Each event will require $2500 to be fully funded. Once ticket sales reach that amount, the event will take place and all additional funds will go straight to the chosen charity.
Should an event not get fully funded, those tickets will be combined into the next event time in hopes to fund at least 1 of the the specific events for that topic.
Tickets will be $50 each person and a company may purchase as many as they wish. However, we will need to cap the ticket sales based on venue and how many people will be able to attend.
For instance, if we have a venue that holds 75 people, we can only sell that many tickets and so the max amount to charity for that event will be $1,250.
Stage sponsor: $500
If desired, this sponsor may have 5 minutes on the stage to speak about their business and promote what they are doing within the community. This sponsor helps push the event funding further along so that more funds can be donated to the charity of choice.
Break sponsor: Will provide some sort of snack for attendees.
Beverage Sponsor: Will provide some sort of drink for attendees.
