The future of business is all about connection

“If you’re not interested in connecting with people, get out of business.”

This is what I led off my presentation to the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS. I spoke there on Monday (5-20) and was able to share some of my ideas on connection branding.

I hope you understand by now that the core of business is all about connection. Nothing more, and certainly, nothing less!

Above you’ll find a 10 minute video where I’ve pieced together some of the best moment during the speech. I hope you enjoy. I hope you comment. But most of all, I hope you do something with it.

By the way, if you’re not on my mailing list, you really should be. (Psst, it’s free)

And one last thing. If you need a speaker at your next event or know someone that you can recommend me to, give me a shout.

Rock on Jared! Congrats on the opportunity, getting some video of your event, and on helping people understand the power of connecting!

  • Video of the event is so important, good job. Did you get any testimonial’s?

    • Actually I did not. To be honest, I was a little nervous and happy to get the video of the first event. Next time though, testimonials for sure!

  • Congrats on the opportunity to speak. I didn’t realize you were so close to Ft. Worth. My folks are in Dallas, I’ll have to reach out to you next time I am in the metro-plex. It is awesome you have video of your presentation, that is something I wish I had for my speaking opportunities.

    • Thanks Tom. Definitely reach out so we can get together. That’s about an hour or so from me.

I did this with Google+ Live Hangouts and a webcam. We also had a cable that ran straight from the mixer to the computer but it was a simple setup. Maybe you could get something setup next time. Let me know if you need help or pointers, it’s really pretty easy to do.

Did you use iMovie to edit the video?

    • Thanks Kent! I certainly appreciate those kind words. Yes, I used iMovie…so awesome…so easy. 😀
